PODCAST: Gabriel Weinberg - DuckDuckGo Founder & Co-Author of Traction

Most things you like to use or listen to is because it is popular. For example, almost everyone uses Google (3.5B search queries per day) because it's popular. Google is what "everyone else" is using for their search engine. But do you know about DuckDuckGo? While not as popular as Google, millions of people use DuckDuckGo (10M search queries per day). The big difference between Google and DuckDuckGo is that DuckDuckGo does not track you and offers real privacy as well as less clutter and advertisements. Again, not as popular as Google, but you can search just as good on DuckDuckGo but with less clutter and real privacy.

Episode 13 of Secret Tech Sauce features DuckDuckGo Founder Gabriel Weinberg. Weinberg not only founded a successful company in DuckDuckGo he also recently wrote a book, Traction, which is a great read for any startup looking to achieve explosive customer growth and gain traction.

My conversation with Gabriel turned out to be an authentic story on his daily routines that help him win the day, his advice on why you should (or should not?) write a book and intel about DuckDuckGo.

Enough of my writing. I am unpopular but popular is not what I am going for. Now on with the podcast - listen below.
